I am trying to put together a last minute trip to Disney and the main booking sites have an awesome deal that I would like to book, but that same deal isn't being offered directly by the resort itself (which is usually what I do). I am a little leery about using one of these companies as everyone seems to have a horror story about one company or the other. Can anyone recommend one over the other, or anyone have good luck repeatedly with 1 of these sites? Any opinions or thoughts are welcome! TIA :)

No problems with any of the online sites. If you are talking about off-site booking, I have found great rates on Hotwire and using the www.betterbidding.com website to decode the hotel prior to booking. Ended up at some outstanding 4-5* hotels at value Disney prices. Don't forget to research (read reviews) to see if there are additional parking and/or resort fees. These can add $30 a night to many of the hotels.

I have used Expedia a lot, but often try to book directly through the hotel if the price is the same.

Thank you both for your input! I really appreciate it :)

When I looked at the sites for my trip, the deal was the same as booking through Disney. One was presented with taxes included, one was not. But if the deal is actually better I would not hesitate to book elsewhere!

I used Expedia last year to book our trip to Universal Studios. It was great. No issues or problems. We booked air with this package and baggage was an extra fee. not included in the package price. FYI
