Best Epcot Restaurant

We are going to Disney on our Honeymoon in September. My fiance loves German food and really wants to try Biergarten. Is the food good? Are they any other suggestions or favorites that we should try instead of or in addition to?

Biergarten's fine, I love Biergarten. Don't know that it's especially really authentic German though.

From what I have heard the best restaurant in Epcot is Bistro de Paris.

If I had to pick one myself it would be...I guess Biergarten. I don't think any of the restaurants inside Epcot are really great. I like Teppan Edo, too, but again it isn't great. Never been to Nine Dragons or Tutto Italia. (Haven't been to Bistro yet either for anything other than food & wine festival events). If I wanted a really good restaurant I'd leave Epcot and walk over to Bluezoo at the Dolphin or Flying Fish at Boardwalk.

LeCellier is very good and the inside is cozy and dark, which could be romantic for you. This is in the Canada pavilion and their specialty is steak. People also love the cheddar cheese soup and the breads that you get when you sit down.
To check out menus go to allears.net and either click on "dining" or "rate & review." A bit of searching will get you links to menus.

Nothing at Epcot compares to Bistro de Paris. It's fine dining, elegant, intimate, outstanding service (with good looking French waiters, what's not to like?).

Biergarten is fun but you will be sitting with strangers and some people are not comfortable with that. The food is okay but I would hardly consider any of Epcot's food authentic.

Pakey makes a good point - you will not be seated by yourselves at Biergarten. On a honeymoon it may be something you want to consider.

We liked Marrakesh by far over and above the others we have tried at EPCOT - although we haven't been to biergarten yet. The food, entertainment, and service was grat at Marrakesh.

Last summer DH and I went on our honeymoon and ate at Biergarten, it was fun, we were seated with a couple on their anniversary trip and a family who was very nice and told us how they had a disneymoon as well. We had a great time and they were going to give us each a free beer but neither of us drink so we passed.

We also ate a Chefs de France, they gave us a great table by the window since we were on our honeymoon and had everyone clap and congratulate us. We also ate at the Garden Grill, not the most romantic but we had a great time, the characters had a lot of fun with us, Mickey even wore my DH's Mickey grooms ears so I have a picture of Mickey with two sets of ears. It was a very memorable meal. Chip and Dale gave us lots of extra attention as well, in fact we had a better time with the characters than when we have the kids with us.

We love Biergarten! The food is tops and the entertainment is great! We've been there twice and always had a table to ourselves.

Romance in EPCOT could be tough because the restaurants are loud and crowded. Check out Il Mulino at the Swan. Easy boast ride from EPCOT. It's tasty and not as loud because there are not many children. Can be pricey and not on Dining Plan.

Bistro de Paris is easily the best one there. However having a Close up table at the Coral Reef is pretty cool too!
I mentioned this in another thread. Go to Germany, buy a large beer and then state you just want to see the show. They will seat you immidately in the back upper left hand side. You can still easily see the show and go down and dance if you want. plus it's free! They will even continue to serve you drinks, just not food. :cool1:

Biergarten is good. My personal favorites are Chefs de France and San Angel Inn
