Just to let you know that all is not lost if you get an indoor table. When Illuminations starts, they're very nice about letting you go outdoors and stand against the back wall. Since everyone's sitting at their patio table, you have an unobstructed view. Of course, they suggested I tell my server before I went out, so he wouldn't think I'd left and clear my table! And as I was leaving, I heard a very irate patron complaining to the manager something about how he was at a patio table and at the last minute a Disney CM brought a group of people in and they obstructed his view. I was delighted with my situation with an indoor table.
