Best Epcot place to eat?

Have you checked the menus here:

http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#epc

I think your question is too broad. We don't know what you like! There are lots of different types of food at Epcot. Why not just find a menu you like and try it! Just because I like it doesn't mean you will...

Good grief. There are as many answers to that question as there are stars in the sky!!! :flower:

My personal lunch fave is the vegetarian platter at the Tangerine Cafe. I'm really looking forward to having it again!! :goodvibes

Our favorite for dinner is Le Cellier and for lunch the Kringla Bakeri in Norway.

We've also had good meals at Rose and Crown and Chef's de France

My husband liked Biergarten...I did not.

We didn't care for China and Akershus is now the Princess meals, although we didn't care for that either, but we're eating there in November anyway, (for the Princesses!!!)

That's about all we've tried so far. Plus the food court in the land, which is just that.

Must do at Epcot is LeCellier we have a dinner and a lunch each trip.Always had good service abd food. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

CS - Fountainview Bakery, I ate there twice.

TS - Le Cellier

lots of people like Lecellier..our meal there was good. we also really liked the food at beirgarten ( basic german fare) and tangerine cafe and sommerset for cs..we dislike american counter, chinese counter( usually i love chinese food this was like warmed over or something frozen to me) and yakitori house ( usually like Japanese but this was not good, maybe it's what we got)

Thanks. I only wanted your opinion. I did read the menus and obviously I still needed help. Thanks everyone for posting your likes and dislikes.

For dessert, you can't beat the bakery at "France". For a very nice meal, our favorite is Le Cellier at lunch or dinner, but the Fish and Chips take-out window at Rose and Crown is also good. Chefs de France at dinner is outstanding, the luncheon menu is a bit limited, but the Quiche and Croque Monsieur lunch special with onion soup and creme brulee is outstanding (if you can eat that much at lunch ;).

You have my mouth watering now! :earboy2:

I loved San Angel Inn, b/c I love authentic (in otherwords, HOT) mexican food. I hear LeCellier is great, but we haven't been there, yet. I'll let you know in Dec.
The only one that we didn't like: Alfredo's in Italy. Just not our cup of tea and overpriced.

For Table Service:
We liked Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Alfredos & all 3 Japanese eateries (Teppenyaki, MatsaNoMa & Tempura Kiku).San Angel & Rose & Crown were good, but not great
We did not care for Chefs De France at all. It could be because I am trained in Classical French & that was so Americanized that I was disappointed. Because of the let down at Chefs, I am hesitant to try Bistro. More Americanized French is of no interest to me.

For Counter Service-
We Love Tangeirine Cafe - it's a Must do. We also really love the new Seasons. Another Top on the list for us in Boulangerie Pastisserie.
We do Yakatori, but usually just grabbing a salad, miso soup & a California Rool - so I'm not sure about their entrees. I also like to grab the combo platter at Cantina San Angel once in awhile.
I do not care for the CS in China at all, really bad Chinese food there. And I'm just not as wowed by the Kringla Bakery as alot of other folks are here. While the Fish is ok at the Take Out window in the UK, I'm not really into the fried food in the FL sun.

We are not Burger & Fried Chicken people, so we really appreciate the CS opportunities in Epcot. For our really nice meals, we tend to gravitate toward the Resort Resaurants more than the Park ones.

An absolute must for us at every visit to Epcot is the fish and chips at the walk up window in England! They are soooooo yummy! We are from Maine where fish is a staple but nothing compares to the English fish and chips!

:cool1: On our way in 17 days...

Being from New England, I'm also looking forward to trying the fish & chips at the counter. I've heard good things about it.

I'm also read good things about the bakery in Norway, so I was thinking I might need to make a stop there for a quick snack.

Thanks for posting this! I like hearing what other's favorites are because it gives me an idea of which places I might like to try.

We love the sushi restaurant in Japan (is it called Matsunoma?). Also - as stated - the fish and chips are tasty. Counter service in Morrocco was good - but SLOW service. The 5 year old likes the CS in China and DH loves the beer in United Kingdom! :)

I totally agree on LaCellier at Canada, Teppanyaki at Japan, and most definately the fish and chips at the Rose & Crown, just don't ask for tartar sauce or they will look at you as if you have two heads! :confused3 :earseek:
