Best Entrance

Does the monorail entrance open at the same time as the main gate. If so does this help you get to tomorrowland faster than if you went in the main entrance?

I was thinking in regards to the getting to the Nemo ride faster.

That won't help you get to Nemo faster if you're trying to do that first thing in the morning. Going to the main gate and then walking over would be faster.

Correct. The monorail won't even start operation until the park opens, so even if you're on thefirst train, you have to take the leisurely ride thru Tomorrowland before you can get off.

Main St. would be better and more magical too. There is something about walking through that front entrance and going under the tunnel (left side thanks ) and getting that first glimpse of Main St. especially if it's right when they open and the ground is still damp.

They won't let you enter Nemo where the exit is at the Monorail inside the park. You have to walk all the way around the Matterhorn anyway, so might as well go through the park. Atleast that was our experience in Sept. 07

The opening recording brings tears to my eyes every single time. Even the kids say now is the time when mom cries. Whatever. They'll know cool I am when they have their own kids.

When I was there in August we got there 20-30 minutes before park opening. When we were released, pretty much everyone was rushing to Nemo. By the time we got in line (we were on the 3rd or 4th sub I think), the guests from the Monorail were just getting off to an hour + line already. Plus they exited the monorail right in the middle of Nemo's line, forcing them to take a less efficient route to get to the beginning of Nemo's line. I highly recommend the front entrance.

Yes, the recorded message is soooo cool. Makes me teary too. However, when I was a teenager, I was in a big hurry to get to Tomorrowland also. You will be fine if you just scoot down Main Street and make a right before the circle and past the rockets. Most of the people are tourists, and don't know where they're going, they are looking down at maps.
