What is the best thing to watch at California Adventure? We haven't been there in a long time, so don't remember what they offer.

Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular at the Hyperion Theater

And when you go, the two parades will probably be:

High School Musical 2
Disney's Electrical Parade

Aladdin is amazing. Disney's Electrical Parade is nice for the music and the lights.

We also like the Miner 49ers over near GRR and the Grand entrance into the park, especially on Thurs and Fri. It is a fun little show that gets the kids involved.

"It's A Bug's Life" is a very cute and fun show to experience also.
It has a "surprise" at the end which will delight and make you laugh.

For me its

Aladdin,
Its tough to be a bug 3d show
Electrical Parade (if its showing as it only plays seasonally)

bleh... i like the block party bash... never get tired of it... :P

Is Alladin still a good choice if we are a 50+ couple? Also, why is the electrical parade not given a very good recommendation. I have not been to Disneyland for ages but go to WDW annually. Thanks for your ideas. Marlyne

Aladdin is a must see for all ages. I'm a 50 y/o male & loved it. My 50 y/o DW & 8 y/o DS also loved it.

If my 87 y/o mother saw it.....she would love it too.

A perfect 45 min. respite (preferrably viewed mid day) from a crowded DLR. Also best viewed from front row Mezzanine. :thumbsup2

Aladdin was fantasic. Try to avoid sitting under the mezzanine (sp?). Not bad seats, but you don't get the full effect of a very cool flying scene.

OH FOR SURE IT IS!!! That musical is for everyone, I cant imagine you not enjoying it. Its an incredible performance and you wont regret seeing it. Its like a broadway performance for free. I prefer sitting in the first balcony as you get the full effect of everything there and you dont strain your neck looking up to see Aladdin and Jasmin flying over top of you on the carpet.
