We will be staying at the Poly for the very first time in about six weeks. It's been a long time coming and we are so very excited!!

We are curious about the best way to get to the Magic Kingdom early in the day. We plan to leave the Poly about 45 minutes prior to early entry. We are on the DVC side so maybe the TTC express monorail would work best? Or maybe the resort monorail from the Ceremonial House, or maybe the boat?? What about during mid-day? I will be grateful for any input from those of you who have stayed at the Poly before!

Unless you have family members for whom the walk is too much, I say hike it from Poly to MK via the new GF walkway.

You've about a 15-minute walk to the GF and approximately another 20-25 on to the MK if going at a fairly brisk pace. Unlikely to be crowded, either.

Otherwise, I'd simply get on the monorail at the GCH since it's a fairly short ride to the MK with only one stop at the GF. The hordes may be arriving at the TTC from the other Deluxes by that point, rendering the MK Express less appealing.

Midday, the boat is a pleasant and relaxing ride from MK to Poly and generally somewhat faster than riding the monorail around the loop even if you must wait for the boat.

We were in the Pago Pago building in Feb and just walked to the TTC to use the monorail. If we had been in Tokelau then we probably would have used the resort monorail instead.
