Im having trouble trying to decide which resort two teenage girls (13 and 14)would like best? We will be there in June when its perfect for swimming. Is one more teen geared than the rest? Ive read where OKW has more space in the studios but havent heard anything about how the new water slide is. Have never been there so I have no experience with any of them. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know about being teen-geared, but Beach Club Villas has access to Stormalong Bay, which is an approximate 3-acre water park.

Check out Tagrel's slideshow.

If water is an absolute requirement, then I agree with BVC. Otherwise I would suggest SSR. My four teens won't let us stay anywhere else because of the easy access to DTD.

My first vote is BVC

VWL would be a close second.
I second that :). BCV has the best pool, but the WL pool is also very nice and more "grown up" than many WDW pools. The slide at BWV is big and fast, but the rest of the pool is just "okay". The OKW pool is babyish even with the new pool slide and I found the SSR pool to be pretty boring.

I just have to ask..... are you two going to WDW alone?

Edit: Sorry I reads the OP again and I now see that this is a mom asking what the kids would enjoy most. Sorry and I feel better now. For some reason I read that as a solo teen trip..............

yes, im bringing my daughter and her best friend. We've never been there so I want to pick a resort that they will be amazed at.

They will be amazed at them all so you are safe. :cool1:

If you want a cool pool then BCV hands down.

If they like beach type water then VWL.

If they like DTD action and want to do a spa day then SSR.

If they want action then BWV.

If they love animals then AKL.

That is the beauty of DVC there is something for everyone!!!

If they also like water activities like boating on the lake, fishing, waters skiing etc then I vote WLV as it is right on Bay lake. Otherwise I would go for one of the EPCOT resort as the Boardwalk will keep them busy after their done swimming in the pools.

Is this trip this June?

It may or may not be possible to book BCV this June. Chances are better at OKW and better yet at SSR.

Definitely BCV!!!! That has been my DD's favorite resort because of SAB since she first stayed there when she was about 7. She is now 22 and has brought several friends with us over the years and they loved it too. In fact, we will be arriving there on Sunday and our first stop after check-in is SAB!!!!

Just asked my DDs 12, 15, they vote for beach club villas bec/of stormalong bay. Depending on when you are going, you do have pool hopping privileges so you could pool hop across to Boardwalk for the Keestercoaster slide and pool (I think that's the name of it). Pool hopping does not work the other way around for BCVs though, so I would stay at BCVs to access Stormalong Bay and then pool hop if boredome sets in. There's always the water parks too.

Staying at BCVs also offers close access to MGM, the more popular park with teens, as well as the fun activities, shopping and restaurants at Boardwalk. If you PM me, I can point you in the direction of an online planning tool that might help you with recommendations for hotels, restaurants and other activities. I'm not sure if I can post other sites on the board. Have fun!

1st choice is BCV with SAB -- possibly the best pool on property.

2nd choice is VWL.

I would agree that BCV would fit the bill for this. plus the Boardwlak is in walking distance which is fun and MGM and EPCOT are nearby as well.

My second choice would be SSR due to DTD nearby.

VWL might be a good choice as well because there are other things going on there like boat rentals etc and close proximity to MK.
