On non park days, my little girl loves just riding the monorail or on boats. The gondolas will probably be just as fascinating to her. Has anyone tried walking to / getting to a station from a DVC resort? It looks like the closest station would be Carribbean Beach. Is that a close walk to Boardwalk, or any others? If not, how would one get there other than taking a boat to a park?

Just trying to find some ways to kill some time with cool sightseeing while mama might need a nap.

You can walk from BWV and BCV. BCV is closer than BWV to the International Gateway station. Of course you could take the Friendship Boat from BCV/BWV/HS to Epcot IGW if you have the time to burn. I confess to taking some of the lesser Disney transportation options just because I had no where I had to be and plenty of time to get there.

I would not wank to walk to CB from Boardwalk, those are some pretty busy streets to cross, particularly with a small child. IG is an easy walk, and as PP said, if you like the boats, take the boat to HS, then sky line it to AoA and walk around the property, particularly the Little Mermaid and Lion King areas, I would think a they would be fun for a little girl.

BWV or BCV is easy walking distance to the Epcot Skyliner station.

The CBR station is only walking distance from Riviera. Otherwise there is a station at DHS too as well as the Epcot IG station. You could take a bus from whatever resort you are at to DHS and then get on the Skyliner there.

Great tips everyone, thank you so much. Looks like it's boats and gondolas, should be a great afternoon!

I would go to studios and ride around, the Skylner station there is close to the busses (or parking lot if you have a car).
