We are hoping to trade through Interval International for DVC for next fall. Which resorts would be best suited for a family of 6 (me, dh, ds - 2, ds - 4, ds -12, dd - 13) and grandma? We are planning on doing most of our time in the world and maybe a day at Universal for the big kids.

Another question. Are perks like the Disney Dining Plan going to available if we trade through II?

Since you will likely be in need of some "real" beds, I'd go for a 2 bedroom at OKW so you would be guaranteed 2 queen beds in addition to the king. The pull out sofa in the living room will be a queen also, and the laundry room is big enough to house the Pac-N-Play for the baby.

DDP will be available for purchase as long as you pre-reserve it. Cost is $38/day/adult. Sorry, I don't know what the child cost is.

We have always got the 2 queens at SSR along with the King, I dont know how many there are but my requset for them has always been met. :cool1:

You need to specify a dedicated two bedroom to get the two queen beds in the second bedroom. Otherwise you get the two bedroom lock-off, which has a queen and a sleeper sofa in the second bedroom.

As far as which resort is best. They are all good. Each resort has something unique about it. Wether its location, amenities, pools, resturants, entertainment. If you go in the fall, you probably won't get Boardwalk or Beach Club cause of the Food and Wine festival. I don't think you will be disappointed in whatever you can get thru II.

perks like DDP and DME will be availablity.

when you call to pay the $95 charge - just make the reservations then.

You will be bring a lot of luggage with that many people and it looks as if Dad will be doing most of the toating. I susggest OKW. You can pull right up in front of your unit.

P.S. You will want to split into groups. The 12 and 13 year olds will have a different agenda than the 2 and 4 year olds. Let Mom and Grandma go with the 2 and 4 year old and let Dad take the 12 and 13 year old. The 2 and 4 year olds will need a afternoon nap (as will Mom and Grandma).

LOL, well in OUR group, it's Dad that needs the nap and Mom who wants to ride the wild rides!
