Best Downtown Disney restaurant for bachelorette dinner?

My Disney knowledge is sorely lacking in this area, since we normally don't go to DTD, and almost never go to eat. For this bachelorette party, we'll have a group of 7 max. A range of ages - MOB, MOG, then 4 girls ranging from 20-33. (Drinking isn't super important.)

Which restaurant might have the best food/atmosphere for a bachelorette dinner? (Fish won't work, but American, Italian, etc. are good.) I think Raglan Road gets good reviews - would a picky bride be ok there too?

I would definitely pick Raglan Road if you are going to DTD-it's fun, has entertainment, and has a great menu.

The night before my wedding, we went to the Biergarten in Epcot & it was AWESOME! So much fun!!:goodvibes It wasn't exactly a bachelorette party-it was my, my BFF's, my DH, his BFF's, and our siblings. We got seated at a large table with a great view of the band, and everyone found something to eat or drink :thumbsup2

We had an Epcot DP that night so we were all in the parks anyways. If we had not had our DP, I would have definitely picked Raglan Road :)

Thanks! (And congrats!) :)

Yeah, we're not going into the parks at all. Everyone else lives in FL but me, so it'll be a quick overnight trip just enjoying downtown Disney, maybe Wishes from Poly, maybe a charater brunch before leaving. :) I feel like the bride really wants this, but is afraid to ask for it. And since I love Disney so much, I don't want to push her since she knows where I'm coming from. LOL. But I do wish she'd make up her mind. Flying to FL in the spring is never fun. :)

Thanks! :goodvibes Is the bride getting married in WDW? The other option might be heading over to the Boardwalk area. You do not need park tickets for that and it is as close to the parks as you can get. Lots of brides have bachelorette parties at Jellyrolls, which is a dueling piano bar or Atlantic Dance Hall, also on the BW. There are also good restaurants-Big River Brewery & ESPN Club (if she is a sports fan). I think you can also catch the Epcot fireworks from the BW area, which is also fun!

Now that Pleasure Island is gone, the BW area has way more options for events like this!

BTW, if you are looking for a fun character meal, we had our wedding welcome party at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. They had Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, & the Wicked Stepsisters-they were hilarious & everyone had a good time. I was also able to special order a grooms cake for my DH and they surprised him with it after dinner :)

You know, I was thinking about BW in the back of my mind. (She's not getting married at WDW, but she is doing a short mini honeymoon at BW. Someone is giving them DVC points.) We'd probably stay at DTD, but it'd be pretty easy to get a bus over to BW. I'd been thinking about Wishes from Poly beach, but she'd probably be just as happy with a partial view of Illuminations. And given the mix of ages, both Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall would suit.

I wouldn't subject her to ESPN, since her husband will probably want to eat there every meal when they go. LOL. But I'd forgotten about Big River Brewery.

I was thinking about a character meal too, but for breakfast Sunday. We've done 1900 PF for that, but not dinner. But 1900 PF would be a good idea if she wanted Wishes/Poly instead for after dinner.
