Best dog friendly hotel

Hi! Just wanted some advice on where your favorite place to stay is in Orlando with your dog! We are planning a trip for November and need to bring our small dog. He is going to the kennel at Disney during the day but we prefer to stay somewhere where he can spend the night with us. I have looked at several places but just wanted tips on what your favorite hotel is! Thanks!

The only hotels that I know of that allow dogs are Red Roof Inn and Candlewood Suite. Candlewood rooms have a kitchenette if that helps you make decision.

Our favorite pet-friendly hotel in Orlando is the La Quinta Inn & Suites Orlando South. ( http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/pro...3&propId=1013&iata=99020724&WT.srch=1&sissr=1 ) The rooms have nice linens, wood floors in the foyer, & space for a pet bed. The hotel also includes a delicious breakfast every morning (with waffles & boiled eggs) & I think the average rate is around $50/night. The only con is that it's about 15-20 minutes from the parks, but the hotel is so comfortable that the drive isn't an issue for us.

The Sheridan Safari is set up for dogs including a dedicated walk area. Less than a mile from DTD and the rooms were quite nice. Plus they have announced a renovation but I don't know if that is done yet or not. We got a good price using Travelocity.

We have also stayed (4 times) at Celebration World Resort - a timeshare - just down the road from Westgate & WH. If you are there for 5-7 days that is a good choice for dog friendly accommodations as well.

The three onsite hotels at Universal allow pets. They are deluxe hotels though and you may not want to pay that much.
