We are leaving tomorrow for our first family trip and it looks like rain...(well..maybe hurricane)

What park is the most enjoyable in the rain??? Any other ideas of what to do are most welcome too! :)

Thanks!

I think Epcot, because there are a lot of places to go indoors, and for a while.

Worst would be MGM, IMO.

Personally I vote for Epcot because there are so many longer rides and then places like Innoventions to spend an hour or two until rain passes.

We are quite excited about our trip....rain or no rain! :)

Other ideas in Orlando? Which park?

I would say Epcot or if you can do it, Disney Quest.

IMO

I actually enjoyed MGM in the rain this past May.

I've done Epcot in the rain and was disappointed because test track doesn't run in the rain & world showcase shops are VERY COLD when you are wet!

MGM worked very well for us, we did RNR, TOT, Indiana Jones, Star Tours, Muppets and TGMR without skipping a beat.

:umbrella:

In a downpour Epcot. In a light drizzle the water parks (You are wet anyway) if it not too cool out.

Getting excited..we leave at 6:50 am TOMORROW! :)

I agree! We were there in June 2002 and had several rainy days, including one wear it poured for several hours in the afternoon. We were in the World Showcase for most of that time, and it was not a very pleasant experience! We had to get to Teppanyaki for a PS, and we learned that the countries definitely seem a lot farther apart in the rain. It was not only raining, but also really windy, so it probably wouldn't have been too enjoyable in any of the parks, but when we came out after lunch, everyone was crowded under what shelter they could find in the countries, so it was rather cramped. Plus, Test Track closes in the rain. I guess if you stayed in Future World, you'd be ok, but I'd definitely pick MGM.

Epcot as the pavilions are all indoors and there is lots to do and see. between futureworls and world showcase.

I voted for MK. I like being able to wander thru the stores on Main Street without having to go outside (for the most part).

Epcot as a "main themepark" but I would say Disney Quest has got to be the obvious choice.

The only park I've ever been to in the rain is Universal Studios IOA and we had a blast!! We had our rain gear on and enjoyed the lack of lines. It was so empty! Not that I pray for rain when I'm on Florida, but it will never stop me!!
