We are headed down to Disney the week before Father's Day. I thought about getting DH a round of golf at one of the courses (we are staying at OKW). Which is the best course for him to play? Can I reserve his teetime and prepay online? Can I get some kind of gift certificate for him? Any help would be appreciated!

DH has played every course at WDW, some multiple times! Yes, you can book online. The "best" course is subjective, of course. DH used to say that Osprey Ridge was his favorite course, but then he didn't even want to play it this upcoming trip. But the views are magnificent. LBV is the favorite of both DH and DS, but it's surrounded by buildings (winds through OKW). Some people find it too tight and distracting. However, we live in a golf course community, so he's used to that. DMIL hates too much water on golf courses, and that was her reaction to Palm. I don't know why, but DS wasn't overly impressed with Magnolia. Eagle Pines is very pretty and not as difficult as Osprey Ridge. This website has info about the courses:

I have played all of the courses at Disney with the exception of LBV, which I will be doing this weekend. All of the disney courses are very enjoyable. Osprey Ridge is the one I like the best. If my wife was to suprise me with a prepaid round and tee time I would be a very very happy man my entire stay no matter what Disney course it was.

My personal favorites are the Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines courses. Although I did get a hole-in-one at LBV#7.

Based on this week's announcement, he might want to try Eagle Pines since it was sold to the Four Seasons and will be closing in the fall to open a new resort.

The Magnolia course is popular because it's home to a PGA Tour tournament every year....so you can play where the big boys play.

Osprey Ridge is probably the most scenic.

Disney plans to close Eagle Pines and use the land for development. Might pick this one because its days are numbered.
