Best Disney Apps for Ipod Touch

What are the best Disney related apps for an ipod touch? Where do you find them and what do they cost? My son got a touch for Christmas and we are going to Disney in February so I thought it would be fun to add some. Thanks!

Go into the APP store in Itunes...and search Disney World... Several will come up. Many are free... but not more than a few dollars. He prob wouldr not be intrested in Eticke..but that is 5.99. There is an app on there of parks which ur son would def like...and it can be used with the touch in the park without internet...have fun!

LOL... i sorda got in a fight over Eticket on here... well not a fight but I said it was basically NOT worth 5.99 and people jumped all over me! Details on why it was pulled PLEASE! I think that is HILARIOUS... I mean its only been around alittle over a month right! I still get on the disboards from that app... but this is hilarious! I need to find my old post saying it wasnt worth it and see what those guys have to say about it now! LOL

Ok, I just read its a temporary pull... but I still think its NOT worth 6 bucks! Free apps and 99cent apps are just is good. it is however good to get on disboards... but certainly thats not worth 5.99!

I do not know the details all I know is that when the new year rolled over it quit working.....

The most important one to get (and its free) is the Disney.com app. Content is 'pushed' when you have a Wi-Fi connection so content changes. Lots of great content in this app!

I have the WDW Dining App - got it for 99 cents at the time... AWESOME! Has all the resturants for the Parks, Hotels and DTD. You can also use it on the Iphone to make your dining rezzies or locate places closest to you in the park via GPS. I have the Ipod Touch too though and use it to search all the menus while you wait online and it does NOT need to be connected to WiFi to work.

I also recently d/led the free version of the WDW Wait Times app... shows the wait times for all the rides in all 4 parks. Pretty slick. This does need to be connected to WiFi to get LIVE updates on the times. (That's why i d/led the free one) No WiFi in the parks as of yet - maybe soon!

Jenn - Which one are you talking about that doesn't need internet?

Some need a wi-fi connection to work (like Sirius radio) and others only need it to push new content to you. It *should* tell you in the description at the App Store if you need WiFi for it to work but I usually find out after the fact.
