We thought the Pirate Adventure dinner show looked interesting but it's gotten horrible reviews, so we'll pass on it.

We know the food at Midieval Times is good, but we did that a couple of years ago.

How about the other dinner shows? What about the murder mystery shows? What would y'all recommend where the food is good (I know it's not gonna be great) and the show/entertainment is also worth the time and money.

We're in our 50's with a daughter 17 (going on 25).

Thanks mucho.

I've heard great things about Tony & Tina's wedding, but haven't had a chance to see it yet. I like Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede.

I have not been to the Orlando show, but I have seen the Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge. Both times it was outstanding and the food was great. You get more than enough food. You will definitely need the doggy bag they offer at the end.

Not sure if this counts as a dinner show, but we went to the Out of Control Magic Comedy show at Wonder Works tonight and it was wonderful. The food isn't anything outstanding- all you can eat salad, decent pizza, popcorn, cake and soda, beer or wine. But the show was really good- we all loved it including the boys ages 15, 12, 10 and 8. We did the ultimate combo-dinner show, museum, and laser tag. I got the tickets through ticketmania-I can't remember the exact price, I think $24 for adults and maybe $20 for kids. I know the museum gets mixed reviews, but my kids loved it-especially the roller coaster simulator. We spent over 5 hours doing the show, museum and laser tag and we had to drag 2 of the kids out of there. Definitely got our money's worth.

My boys asked me, " Where did you hear of this place?" Disboards, of course!

Another vote here for the Dixie Stampede. The show was great, the food plentiful and HOT :thumbsup2

I am feeling sooo bad we didn't make the Dixie Stampede this year:( It was planned for this trip. Don't ask me how we didn't find the time to do it when we were there for 3 weeks!
Oh well.. definately next trip.

So.. Arabian Nights is one of our faves.. we do it almost every year(we didn't do it last year), this year included. We were lucky enough to share this one with LuvChefMic! We met a couple of times at the World, and arranged to go to AN together. She got her tickets last minute at TicketMania (picked them up the next day) with no problem, and we got to sit together (VIP) seats, first row in the middle! We were sure to get there early to request our seat change so we could be together. We all enjoyed the show very much!

Medieval Times. We did that last year. We enjoyed it, but we didn't LOVE it. The food was better then AN (though we don't really go for the food). We thought the arena was small, and the acting pretty bad..lol. But there was an older gentleman really insulting the other teams, just being very rude... but he was sooo funny really! The actors were getting pretty riled up about him too..lol. He kept yelling "Off with their heads!"... and I was pretty sure he meant it! My daughter kept giving him these side looks, then trying not to crack up laughing. Our team didn't win... I thought he was gonna challange them to a duel or something!
It was fun.. but AN is better in our opinion.

We did Pirate's Adventure last year. I tried to discourage my daughter to choose that because of all the reviews.. but she wanted to go.
We had a great time there, better than MT. The acting is lacking... but it was fun! A lot of interaction. We got the highest upgrade there was (with prepaying for tickets it doesn't seem like too much to upgrade when you get there).. and dd got to don a redcoat and shoot at the pirates! Our pirate was pretty cute too :)
The food was really bad here! We didn't eat it and stopped at Denny's on the way back to the hotel that night..lol. But like I said we don't go for the food:)

I can't wait to try that magic show, and Dixie Stampede! I will next time definately!

I prebuy all my tickets from UndercoverTourist.com. They seem to have the best prices and their customer service can't be beat!
We bought tickets for all 3 shows last year. We didn't get to do AN last year so we held onto those tickets until this year and that's what we used. So it's nice you can just buy the tickets when you can throughout the year so it feels like less you spend when you get there (at least for us). We always get the best upgrades available. You get great seats and some souveniers too.

Thanks everyone for your reviews.. I'd never heard of the Magic Comedy show before. It's now on our list of things to do. As wonderful as Disney is, we don't spend the full 3 weeks at Disney when there are wonderful dinner shows, Cocoa beach, Sea World.. etc..
