I noticed the price of some family dinner shows (pirates, mystery dinner, etc) have gone way up the last few years. A family of 4 can now expect to pay between $200-300 for one of these shows. Anyone have suggestions as to which shows offer a good value or come at a discount?

If you want to do one of these look for coupons in the Orlando tourist books for discounts. These are not shows you need to book way in advance. Also, I'd take a look at Groupon.

I'm not a fan and skip it, but my brother, his kids, and his granddaughter all love the pirate dinner show. His kids have fond memories of it growing up and now are taking the next generation when they visit Orlando.

We haven't done the dinner, but that looks fun to me. The museum itself is well done, similar to the traveling exhibits they've had going around the country in years past.

Thanks LewisC, I did not see that on the site. Summer 2025 is pretty soon so I hope they will announce a new Orlando location soon, keep us posted!

Yeeeess! Thanks babyruth. Ever go before? This a new location? Doesn't look TOO expensive (compared to WDW dining experiences at least..)
Anyone have a pro or con to say about the dinner?

I've never been to a non Disney lu'au except for on Oahu because the Aulani one was closed LOL. I remember the one at the Polynesian it was so fun. I have been looking for things to do on a non park night and haven't come up with anything besides dinner at Disney Springs and seeing Drawn to Life. I have one more night to fill. If I find anything interesting I'll report back!

The new location isn't great. It's on 192, east of I 4. It's in a 2* motel, very reasonable rates. Original location of Capones.

Type the address in a map program.
