Hi, I am going to Disney soon and on my first day I get in early in the morning. I am planning on visiting EPCOT for dinner that day and am not sure which restaurant to go to. From reading these forums the French and Canadian ones seem to be good. I am a bit of a picky eater and have food allergies to milk and egg, so I was wondering if anyone had good ideas. Thanks!

I vote for Le Cellier in Canada. It has been the best meal yet for me at Disney in terms of taste and food quality.

I also like San Angel in the Mexican pavillion. I enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food here.

Le Cellier is a good restaurant, but so is Chef's de France. But, IMHO the best restaurant in Epcot is Bistro de Paris (upstairs in France). You may want to read the dining reviews here when trying to decide. :disrocks:

The hard part is getting into Le Cellier. Call for ADR, or check the online ADR site.

Le Bistro de Paris is the EXPENSIVE upstairs restaurant in France. It is awesome but does not participate in Dining Plan at all.
Le Chefs de France (sidewalk level) tends to be very crowded also. This is another you should make ADR for.

ADR = advanced dining reservation. You can make one by calling 407 WDW DINE or they also have online booking, search for disney dining reservations. Places we've liked: Biergarten and Chefs de France. Disliked: Tutto Italia, Akershus, and San Angel Inn. We're trying Le Cellier and Teppan Edo later this week but I've heard great things about both:thumbsup2

Our favorite is Chefs de France. It is consistently great food, great service, excellent atmosphere.

We also like Rose and Crown, a lot. Le Cellier isn't bad either.

We were really disappointed with a recent visita to Tutto Italia. I'd steer clear of there.

Ok, I always do ADR, just didn't know what the were :). Was thinking about the italian restaurant but seems like something to stay away from now. I am just afraid of chefs de france, b/c I have never really had French food, and don't know if I would like it. Does anyone know if its French, but has more of an American feel to it? Thanks guys.

I wouldn't be afraid of Chefs Des France having food that is too weird for you. Last time I went there my sister, mom, and I did this 3 course prix fixe menu they were offering. The food were things like three-cheese-macaroni, roasted chicken breast with french fries, and salmon with ratatouile. They also had a selection of appetizers including French Onion soup and a salad, and the desserts were things like creme brulle and lemon meringue tarts. I've also had a croque monsieur (grilled ham and cheese sandwich) at this place.

I'd give it a go!

Le Cellier and Tutto Italia are our top WS meals.

Chefs we find over-rated.

I don't know what you mean by "going soon" but your choices may be limited to what you can get an ADR for! LeCellier is the toughest one to get, so have some backup plans.
We enjoyed Biergarten and it's very easy to get in, so even if you can't get an ADR you may very well get a walk-up- we did during free dining. Got lunch at 1:00, which is prime time. Also, if you can't get any reservations, there are lots of great counter service places in Epcot.
As for your allergies, just tell the CM when you call for your ADR's and they can note them on your reservation. That way the chef will know in advance and can make any accommodations necessary for you to have a safe meal.

Thanks again, I will probably be going to Le Cellier. By going soon I mean in about 3 months, so I hope I can make reservations for it. Thanks for all the help!
