My family of four will be bringing a family of five (new to Disney and intimidated by the sticker shock of the menus) to WDW for 6 days in July. We plan on eating mainly CS and in our rooms (BCV). But we want to eat at least three TS. Kids are 12, 13, 14, 16, 16. We were thinking Ohana (dinner), WCC (lunch), and Cape May Breakfast. Our main goal is fun. The last time I took a large group of people to WDW - I had Boma planned. While I loved it, most of the large party still tease me about the strange food. :lmao:

Suggestions???

We enjoyed Teppan Edo as a large group. There were 9 of us and they fit us, pretty comfortably, at one table. It offers entertainment and a pretty good meal. We also tried WCC and Ohana. The kids especially enjoyed WCC. I know many love Ohana, but the food was just not for us.

Have a great trip!

I would seriously consider Crystal Palace. We had a party of 8 there our first trip and we were well-accommodated. Have a great trip!

In 2000, we had a large group go to Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review. They brought one of our group on the stage.

9 years later, we still talk about this as the most fun meal we ever had at WDW.

Great Suggestions Thanks. I didn't think 9 could fit around the table at Tepan Edo, so that is a cool option. Also, I would have never, ever considered Crystal Palace - but I just looked at the photos from the restaurant, and I think it would be fine. I could book a late dinner and enjoy MK late at night on a EMH day. HDDMR would also be fun for me - that might be the most expensive option though. I am sure it is worth it though.

We just returned from a week in WDW. Our party of 8 was accommodated at Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Beirgarten, Grden Grill, and Crystal palace.

How about a big Italian dinner at Tutto Italia??? That is our first night this April with the "kids" and our DGS age 8. But the sticker shock is wicked!!!

I love the Teppan Edo idea ... we have ADRs there too ... but I don't think they can fit nine at a cooking station. I gues you could ask ... it sure would be / sure is a fun meal.

Too bad that those other folks didn't enjoy the great food at Boma that you did and we did (twice) on our last trip.

We always did large parties at Chef Mickeys and it's always great .Good Food & fun.

I do like Boma, too !
Everyone can pick what they want to eat and so many choices.
We have also done LeCellier, Chef Mickey or why not try
Rose & Crown and watch Illuninations from the patio.

:cool1:
