Best Dining for Solo?

I go to the parks pretty often by myself, and I'd really like to eat at a nice, full-service restaurant and not quick-service. Which restaurants are best to eat at solo? Which ones have a bar to sit at?

The Tune-In Lounge at Sci Fi serves the full menu. It can be pretty dead, but if it's not, the company is usually friendly. There is a bar at Yak & Yeti. It is small, on the side of the main dining room, and I think often busy, so not as nice of an atmosphere, but I think also serves the full menu. There is a pub menu (not the full menu) at Rose & Crown. I'm not sure if there is table side service in the pub side, though.

I'm sure there are others that I can't think of just now. Does Tokyo Dining have a sushi bar?

I'd second the recommendation for the Tune-In Lounge. I've actually seen it get pretty crowded during peak lunch and dinner times with people waiting for thier ADRs. When eating solo, I prefer to go someplace that has bar type seating.

If you're OK with eating at the pricer spots, Jiko has a counter/bar type seating area that gives a view of the open kitchen. I think Flying Fish may have the same sort of setup. I think you can also order off the full menu at the Cali Grill bar area.

It's a fantastic place to sit at the bar or I've eaten several times at tables by myself. The staff if awesome and the food is great! Highly recommended!!!

Even if you don't want pricey, I would still recommend the chef's counter at Jiko - you watch them make all of the different appetizers on the menu, including the flatbreads, which for their size, are really reasonably priced. Good conversation with 2-3 awesome and very friendly chefs, watching them create beautiful and tasty food, and fantastic selection - can't be beat! Flatbread, soup, and dessert, plus a glass of wine, all for 40 bucks is pretty awesome.

Wow! Thank you for all of the recommendations! I can't wait to try them out.

I really like Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a buffet style dinner with the flavors of Africa. It's by far my favorite place and a must when I travel to WDW.
