I am looking for opinions on the best dessert anywhere on property. I will have a car and access to the parks when I am there over the weekend and would like to know what everyone thinks.

What and where is the best dessert?

Thanks in advance,

Judging from some of the pictures posted here, I'd have to go with Beaches and Cream! How can you go wrong with that No Way Jose? I drool everytime I see it. :earseek:

I hate to mention it because I don't want it all snapped up before we go again...but.....
Fulton's over at the Marketplace/Pleasure Island area has a to-die-for milk chocolate creme brulee. We often take an order back to the room for a midnight treat. :teeth:

I love the vanillla soft serve cones in Asia at the Animal Kingdom. I know it sounds boring, but these cones are incredibe...they taste like they have sweetened condensed milk in the mix--awesome.

I would agree that the sundaes we had at Beaches and Cream were really good, and I also like the creme brulee in the France area of Epcot.

Some I've heard are good but havent tried:

Maple Creme Brulee in Le Cellier in Epcot

Grapefruit cake in Brown Derby in MGM

Any one of them and there are several at the Kona Cafe.
Just before you are seated, the server will bring you over to the deserts and explain each one to you. I think there are about 8 different deserts.

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

We just got back - ended up at Ohana's even though it was not part of my PS before we left. We kept hearing such wonderful things from people on the buses that we decided to try and get PS while we were there last week.

The meal was good - just need to allow a lot of time here.

The dessert was bread pudding with bananna foster sauce - I have never liked bread pudding . . . . . . until now. WOW - the bananna foster sauce over the vanilla bean ice cream & the bread pudding was amazing!

I have to put in a vote for it - especially when I have never liked bread pudding before.

I have to admit - how sad it is to be back at work. We waited what seemed like sooooo long for our trip last week - boy did those 10 days fly by. Before we knew it we are back at work (my feet and legs are probably happy for the rest) but I sure miss WDW already!

::yes::

These are some of the desserts that I heard were good that I really want to try during my trip.

Ohana - Bread Pudding
Boma - All of them
Brown Derby - Grapefruit Cake / Creme Brulee - Also has any one tried the happiest celebration on earth dessert here? I'd love to try it.
Le Cellier - Maple Creme Brulee (Might get a sampler)
CRT - Slipper Dessert, (if I can get it at lunch)
Jiko - Pistachio Creme Brulee (Might get a sampler.)
Kona - Chocolate Cake / Creme Brulee
Artist Point - Cobbler

Our hands down favorite is The Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef. The food is just mediocre sometimes and sometimes great, but that Wave is to die for! Man, I could drool right now thinking about it! 9 more days! :sunny:

Some of my favs:

Fresh Ice Cream Sandwich- Main St. Bakery
Elephant Ears and Coconut Pyramid - Bakery France

Napoleans from the Boulangerie Patisserie(sp?) in the French Pavillion of WS. They are as big as a baby's head and so yummy. Even for breakfast. :dancer:

Oh, I forgot about those (shame on me :rotfl: ) So yummy!! Anything from there is great!! I used to love the "gourmet" soft serve that they had at the Outpost but I heard it is only vanilla and chocolate now. I used to get mint chocolate soft serve. I have never seen it any where else.

i think ghiradellis for ice cream( dtd)

french patissiere for pastry

usually we are to full for dessert and eat it later

at Disney MGM Studios. My DH & I love love love their ice cream...it is so good & creamy! :cool1:

Can you tell we like it??

Peach Tarts at the French Bakery, Chocolate Eclairs at Boardwalk, ice cream cookie sandwiches at Main Street Bakery, gelato (I recommend pistachio) at the Beach Club Marketplace, at B&C I like the banana split, at Ghiardelli's the Strike It Rich. Heck, I practically live on desserts at WDW.

Ghirardelli's special holiday sundae: mint chocolate chip & peppermint stick ice cream covered with gooey hot fudge, whipped cream, a cherry, and a chocolate peppermint candy on the top. If I can only wait 45 more days...

Angel food cake with berries at 50's PT, Almond crusted cheesecake with cherry sauce at Narcoosses and warm chocolate truffle cake at MM. Yummy!

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions. I will keep them all in mind. I have tried a few things at the bakery at Boardwalk and all of it was the best. Can't wait to go and if someone out there has a favorite that wasn't mentioned please add to the list.

Thanks again,
