If there is a thread on this already, please just point me in the right direction.

But for CS meals, what are the best desert selections from any CS selection that you can suggest? I ask more on desert as I'm sure I can find some main meal selection at any CS venue, but what has that 'bang' for desert?

Also, what CS recommendations do you have for out of park venues too? We have 6 nights but only 4 days of park passes (as DS will be running both full & half marathon and DD/DinLaw will be doing half).

We will arrive Thursday afternoon. Friday appears to be maybe a light Epcot Day & possibly MK later on but early bedtime. Saturday is one of the races. Sunday the second. Sunday afternoon 2nd park pass day in afternoon at Epcot. Monday at HStudios & Tuesday at MK.

So far we have reservations as follows:
Friday Kona Cafe for breakfast (1TS)
Friday Rose & Crown for lunch (1TS)
Sunday Biergarten for supper (1TS)
Monday PTC for supper (1TS)
Tuesday Narcoossees for supper (2 TS)
Wed - depart

So assistance with good CS suggestions with good deserts for either resorts or parks for Thursday night, Friday early light supper at Epcot or a resort (so no sick runners), Monday lunch (HS), Tuesday lunch (MK). Earl of Sandwich will probably be one pick for us. Hotel is Wilderness Lodge, so any other good resort options easily accessible from there are open to suggestion also (Poly, GF, etc). Saturday the girls may want to eat light supper but DS probably won't since doing 2 races, so we may have one extra CS left over.

This is the first DDP we have done - normally just wing it & go. But with the package pricing it provided us the option to book a nicer hotel and go all-in.

So any suggestions are very beneficial to us.

In the parks; Starring Rolls, Kringla, and Sunshine Seasons all have bakeries with many wonderful selections for dessert. POP and the All Stars have the ice cream cookie sandwich and brownie sundaes. Contempo Cafe, Captain Cooks, and Roaring Fork have gourmet cupcakes (others have them too if you look). Captain Cooks also has Dole Whip. Sassagoula has beingets.

I guess it depends on what you want - the best bang for buck or the something different.

Yep, Starring Rolls and Pizza Planet both have amazing cupcake options in HS. I can't vouch for the pizza quality at PP but know several who enjoyed it. Starring Rolls is good all around!

I know this isn't on the dining plan but I do love the waffles from Sleepy Hallow in MK. Fresh waffle, nutella chocolate, fresh berries... Mmm!

Great choice on Kona for breakfast. It is probably my favorite for breakfast on property!

Wolfgang Puck in DTD has pretty consistantly high reviews and very generous portion sizes. From dining reports I have read they seems to have some more unique desserts as well.

Check out the desserts at Roaring Fork right at the Wilderness Lodge. They have some delicious bakery things.

Another vote for the Sunshine Seasons (strawberry shortcake is really good), the Kringla (almost any of the pastries), and the Patisserie in France (but it doesn't have as much in the way of entree choices). The Boardwalk Bakery also has some pretty good sandwiches and gourmet cupcakes (mocha is my favorite!).
