Am considering going to US/IOA and wondering what ticket options are out right now.

Bummer, none of those are as good as what I could get a few years back. I guess than since it is before Harry Potter, that explains it!

Hopefully something will turn up, we don't leave until November so have some time.

Since HP there have been fewer and fewer specials...that will not change. Once HP2 opens next summer...forget it. If people are willing be pay full price to come to the parks, Universal is not going to discount tickets. Supply and demand.

I am debating the $199 Annual Passes versus just getting tickets.

Since our DVC Premium Annual Passes expire five days into our next trip, we are looking to a first venture into Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure.

Make sure you note the blackout time as well as the different discounts with the different passes.

No danger on those blackout dates. I don't visit Orlando in the summer. Heat, crowds and bugs. We did Christmas at WDW once. Never again.

Is there any offers for slightly discounted annual passes that you all know of?

After checking prices if I can squeeze out 2 trips, that is the way to go.

I am in this same boat. I wish I had bought more of the Costco tickets when they expired in 2015

So we are only doing one day (both parks) this December, but we are coming back for another HHN trip (more than one day next October MOST LIKELY).

I hate to buy base day tickets both trips when I'll end up saving money if we do the annual pass. If only airfare wasn't so steep I'd go down all the time!!

I really should live in Florida.... :cool2:

No discounts on annual passes until you renew. Then the discount is substantial!
