Best deal on a 58" Plasma

On Cyber Monday we purchased a 58" plasma - Panasonic for $1499 For what it's worth we absolutely love this tv! Hooked up HD Dish Network - the rose parade is on now and wow!!!! Watched a blue ray movie last night and it was simply amazing! Like going to the theatre in my own home

From what I have researched Panasonic leads the plasma market and Samsung leads the LCD market.

Closer it gets to the Super Bowl the better deals will be out again

We just bought a 54" Panasonic plasma, and we have been extremely pleased with it. We got it from Sears with the bing cashback. I think our final with all the discounts came out to be around $1000.

There may be some additional discounts as time gets closer to the Super Bowl. Samsung is the official flatscreen TV of the NFL and they're usually giving out discounts then.

Amazon.com right now is pricing the 58" version of the 50" Samsung plasma I have (B650) for $1784.
