I'm planning a LAST minute trip to Universal Studios, had reservations for the Royal Pacific but really want the space and comfort of a condo. I usually stay at vacation homes but don't need the pool in January so I thought a condo would be nice.

I see LOTS of sites but am not sure who to trust. Any suggestions?

There are also some nice new townhome resorts that may be worth a look at rather than just sticking to a condo. With these you can sometimes get a private hot-tub or splash pool - gives you something in between a villa and a condo :)

Hi....

You might want to look at the board sponsor, Dreams Villas of Orlando.

They have 3 and 4 bedroom villas starting ar $99 a night. You can visit their website at www,DreamsVillas.com

The property is 5 miles east of Disney off highway 192. It's called the Villas at Seven Dwarfs Lane.

Each unit is fully furnished and have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, two master suites and over 50 DVDs in each unit for your family to watch.

Also....everyone that stays 7 nights or longer gets a free Sam's membership. If your already a member, it's usuable as a gift card.

Take a llook...I think you'll be impressed.

I have stayed with All Star Vacation Homes (www.allstarvacationhomes.com), and I thought it was a terrific company. Highly professional. Most of its condos are off U.S. 192 west and south of Disney, but it does represent a development, Vista Cay, that's quite near Universal. Check its "Specials" page, because January is low season and you're very likely to score a really great deal. I know that this company frequently gives you a free rental car with a week's rental--a fab deal.

Other companies I like include Alexander Holiday Homes (www.floridasunshine.com).

The Central Florida Property Managers Association is a club representing reputable companies. It has a website, www.vacationwithconfidence.com, where you can rent homes of its member companies. It's a very good place to start.

If you want a condo, you could check out Vista Cay. One way to find rentals by owner is to go to the vrbo site and type in Vista Cay in the search field. Good luck!

Getaway Weeks has many 1 & 2 bedroom condos available in January. Win a Skyauction Home&Away auction with a bid under $50 and the entire week will cost around $270.

Wow, great deal at skyauction, but I'm only staying for 3 nights! Man, I wish I could take a week!!

I'm dealing with a nice lady I found on vrbo for Vista Cay! Wow, I never even knew they existed! A great condo area near Universal who doesn't rob you like Vistana! AllRIGHT! :thumbsup2 Thanks!
