Best Deal for Legoland one day with Water Park?

Hello DIS-ers. You helped me out last year so I am hoping you can assist again.

I am looking for the best deal for one adult and one child to Legoland and the Legoland water park for one day.

I went onto the Legoland website and it's asking for the date I will be there. I don't have a precise date yet although I know the WEEK. Does anyone know whether purchase of a ticket through their website will lock me into a particular date?
