It will be our 5th anniversary on June 3 (and our last day at the mouse) and I would like to have it at a nice restaurant. I also just noticed that I will have a one DDP left on that day so could use that too. Any recommendation to a nice (romantic) restaurants in any of the Disney parks?

I have reservations @ Tutto Italia Ristorante but is there anything better?

I also have Le Cellier Steakhouse on an earlier date so that is out of the question.

Pay out of pocket for your least-expensive meal which you were planning to use 1 credit for and then do a Signature Restaurant with that credit you saved plus the one left. All of the Signatures are good, so just look at menus online and decide which is best for you.

I would also pay OOP for one of your TS meals, the least expensive, and then go to a signature at a resort. You could try Cali Grill (Contemporary), Narcoosee or Citricos (Grand Floridian) or Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge). Have a wonderful anniversary!

If you do not want to do a signature I think the best 1TS are Sanaa and Turf Club. I've been to all of the signatures many times and I enjoy most of them but these two are better than Le Celluer IMO.

This! And I would go to the Cali Grill!

I wouldn't pay OOP for a meal and then go to a signature. But that is just me.

A wonderfully romantic restaurant is San Angel Inn at Epcot. It is in the Mexican pavillion but it is decorated like you are outside, next to a little river (which is the boat ride). The atmosphere makes you feel as if you are dining in mexico on a little river...very romantic, with the stars and the volcano in the back. Fabulous!
The food is more traditional, so make sure you take a look at the menu. It isn't tex mex style like we are used to here in the states. So be aware of that. But if you want romance....that is the place. ;)

I totally agree with Pakey.

If you want to consider using 2 TS credits towards a fantastic meal, I highly recommend Citricos. I think it is the most romantic of the signatures, and it has amazing food and service.

Unfortunately, except for possibly Bistro, there ARE no romantic restaurants in the parks....

Citricos at the Grand Floridian - quiet, more formal service, enjoy the Grand Floridian lobby after dinner. The lobby is decor is very nice, there's an orchestra and a piano player that take turns playing music in the evening.

If looking for a 1 credit DDP restaurant... not sure if I'd classify any as romantic... but Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom is a little more on the quiet side, has interesting decor, we love the food, great service, and interesting drinks. AFTER dinner, walking through Animal Kingdom Park could be considered a romantic stroll, maybe.........

Thank you all so much!!! We decided on Narcoosee since the food was more to our liking. We were not looking for sea food since we live in RI and there is excellent Sea food restaurants all over the state.

Did I mention that our romantic dinner would include 2 kids too

Narcoosee is 2 ts BUT I'll just OOP one of the other meals. If I need money, I'll eBay one of the kids :rotfl2:

I would love to try Red Lobster on another day but the wife said, No Way. The commercials make the food look so good .

I can't help myself. I just changed it to Yachtsman Steakhouse. Online ADR make it easy to change it on a moments notice. :rolleyes1

Ok... since you mentioned kids.... I'll suggest Flying Fish Cafe across the water from Yachtsman at the Boardwalk Inn. The seafood was very good... and I hear steak eaters like the NY strip. Just outside the restaurant are entertainers on the boardwalk... magic, comedy, juggling... a romantic dinner and great fun before and after dinner...

Never been to Yachtsman.. we picked Flying Fish instead because we like seafood and the reviews were more consistently positive than Yachtsman.

Check out my review of Flying Fish Cafe

I got the solution! Go to them ALL!!! Change to the deluxe DDP (includes appetizers too!) and extend your stay a few nights... seriously!

I would love to get the DDxp BUT there is no way I can have Big lunches & dinner meals every day. I'm struggling to find a way to use the 2-3 QS meals.
