Hi,

We have 3 park days and 1 beach day in June. Looks like operating hours are the same for all 4 dates. What date would be best to go to the beach? Our dates are Friday June 12, Saturday 13 June, Sunday June 14 and Monday June 15. There are some Grad Nights in there too, if that makes any difference :)

I would think monday for the beach, but you may want to end your vaca in Disney. If you want your last day to be IN Disney, then do the beach on Friday. Check to see what the AP dates are for that week. If they're blocked out, then the crowds will potentially be lower on Saturday and Sunday in the parks.

I'd go Saturday to the beach since I would imagine that will be the most crowded day at DLR. I know a lot of people say avoid days that APs are valid, but I disagree because I just find most Saturdays to be horrific, APs or not.

My other option would be looking at the weather and picking the day that looks warmest for the beach. June beach weather is hit or miss. Mornings can be very cold for the beach and the sun sometimes doesn't come out from behind the June gloom until afternoon.

Do not go to the beach on the weekends!!!! It is soooo crowded. You can't find a parking spot, it's bad. I've gone to Disneyland the last four years and the weekends aren't too bad. Saturdays the crowd seems to be lower because 3 of the pass holders are blocked.

I'm going June 22-25. I see that seems to be the last valid dates for one of the AP's. Does that mean it's gonna be super crowded?!

I find Friday morning to afternoon to be ok but in the night it gets super crowded. I agree Sat to be busy all day. I think I would go to the beach on Saturday.

Beaches are crowed on the weekends too. Hate to say you may be more likely to enjoy the beach on Monday.

I second a pp who suggested looking at the weather because the beach can be cool and foggy even in June. On our visit, we didn't plan the beach day prior, but let the weather be our guide (and how early or not we wanted to get up after a few days of early entry). We slept in a little and went on the warmest day. Since we had our own car, we hopped to a few beaches because DH had not been to any of them before. For us, Seal Beach was the least crowded and parking on the street was free. We had a very good late lunch at Hennessy's, an Irish pub in the little downtown district of Seal Beach. Then we came back refreshed for an evening at DL. This was my DH's favorite day.

Depends on whether you prioritize less crowded beach or less crowded DL. What's more important to you?

If the weather is not a factor, I would choose Saturday for the beach day. Beach crowds are less of an annoyance to me personally than DL crowding. I try to avoid Saturdays in DL when possible.

The last few years I have gone to DL on a Saturday and it hasn't been that bad at all because SL SC DX pass holders are blocked. The Saturdays at DL weren't as crowded as my weekdays.
