Best Day to visit right after Labor Day

I will be visiting Universal Studios right after Labor day. I was originally thinking of visiting on the Saturday right after Labor day but someone suggetsed to me that it would be dramaticaly less crowded if I visited on the Thursday after Labor day. I am only spending one day and am only visting the Studios. Any thoughts on Thursday vs Saturday?

We were there this past Labor Day weekend. There was a drastic drop in patrons on that Tuesday. You would be better off going on Thursday since not too many of the locals will be there like they would be on a Saturday.

Most weekends are quiet before 11am or so. You can do a lot if you're there at opening. Holiday weekends are busy so get there early!
