best day to reserve Palos on 7 day cruise?

I am trying to figure out when the best day during the 7 day cruise is to reserve Palos. It seems to me that a good night would be on Tuesday night because that is the 2nd of 3 nights you would go to your rotation restaurant. Meaning later that week on Friday you would go to that rotation restaurant a 2nd time and still get to experience all 3 restaurants twice. Also, there isn't a show in the Disney theater, just the deck party. But I am asking all of you your opinion because I really haven't seen this strategy mentioned and I just want to make sure that I am not missing something. I am one who wants to try and see and do everything (but I am realizing that is impossible on an individual Disney Cruise, multiple cruises are necessary) so I want to try to reserve Palos without missing out on other things.

Also, Friday would be a good night to reserve because that would be the 3rd night in one of the rotation restaurants, but when making the reservations for that night one would have to be careful to not schedule it during the show that night (if one did not want to miss any of the shows).

So tell me what you think - is Tuesday night a popular night for reservations and difficult to get? is there something else going on Tuesday night (I still plan on going to the deck party but that is later than a show would have been) that I shouldn't miss? what other nights are good for eating at Palos?

Thanks for any of your help!!!:) :) :) :earsboy: :earsgirl:

My vote is Tuesday. We did Monday last time and missed Cest Magique. We won't make that mistake again.

Have a great cruise!

The way we decided is we looked at the menus and figured out which was the least appealing to us. Personally, I think we were wrong and if the menus are the same on our 7 day western next january, i would definately miss the small world dinner (our least favorite) for palos.

We had late dinner seating so we just made our palos reservation for the same time as our regular seating and saw the show on our regular schedule.

Another good idea is (no matter if you have early or late seating) decide which menu to skip like Lisa said, and then go to the early show, whichever one it is, and then schedule Palos for 7:45 or 8:00 that way you see the show and still get Palos!
