Going to SW for just one day, which day of the week is the least crowded? Will be there the 2nd week in August. Thanks for any and all help.:car:

Weekdays are generally better than Saturday/Sunday, given the large proportion of local guests, but otherwise I've never seen a day-to-day breakdown.

Undercovertourist says that Mon-Weds are best, Thurs okay, and Frid-Sun Busy.

I am going next Monday and possibly Tuesday. I will let you know how the crowds were. I am a Florida resident and will warn you now, IT will be HOT in august so please wear light clothing and keep hydrated. I would go ahead and purchase a spritzer fan (Walmart carries them), and bring some sturdy paper towels in plastic bag, that you can wet with cold water to cool off your neck, etc.. ;)

I'm thinking now about bagging SW for the day....what do you think? The last time I was there was 2001. My kids were 4 and 8 mos old. Do you think it's worth the money and time coming from Wilderness Lodge? We were thinking about renting a car for the day. Should we just go to Aquatica or one of Disney's water parks instead? Gimme feedback everyone:yay:

My kids love SeaWorld. It depends on what type of kids you have. Mine love animals and all the shows are wonderful. There are only two rides at SeaWorld, so if your kids are only about rides, they might not like to go. SeaWorld now has a waterpark right next door. We have not gone yet but it looks like fun. It is a completely different entrance and fee. I also was not looking forward to going the first time we went. We lived in San Antonio, TX for a bit and we had a seaworld there and I went often, so I was not looking forward to going, BUT I was pleasantly surprised I really enjoyed Orlando's SeaWorld, thats why we are going again.

Monday and Tuesday almost always are the slowest as long as it's not a holiday weekend. If you go during the summer though I noticed it seems to be busy regardless of whether it's a weekday or not. Don't go around the 4th of July because it will be busy then for sure.

The last time we were there we asked this question to a CM and she told us that for some reason Tuesdays seemed to be slow for them. :thumbsup2
