Best day of the week for LA

We are staying in Anaheim but will be doing a day trip to LA. Would a weekend day be better for that due to traffic? I know it will be busy either way just wondering if one might be slightly better. If we did the Warner Bros studio Tues/Wed would not be an option

I would aim for a weekend. Traffic should reasonably better (although it's always bad except for perhaps Sunday morning before 9am).
