Find a real relationship is the exception not the rule on dating apps. I have been on and off dating apps for about 3 years. At first I was really excited about the prospects but the more I was on them the more jaded I became. I have tried Match, Plenty of Fish, Tinder and Bumble. They are all about the same. And most people on one are on the others.
My only advice is be honest about what you are looking. Be yourself. And for goodness sake only post recent pictures. No one cares what you wore to your High School prom. Or your best friends wedding 20 years ago.
I've tried a bunch too, like Tinder, Bumble, and Match, and I agree—they’re all kind of similar in the end. At first, it was exciting, but over time, it can feel like you're just sifting through profiles without really connecting. One thing I’ve found helpful is leaning toward sites where the vibe is a bit more mature.
