Best CS in Hollywood Studios?

CS everywhere is just that, CS. It's not going to be overly terrific.
maybe at HS...but not overall at all the parks.... if you have a TS, I would eat a good breakfast, then a snack somewhere(HS has starring rolls for giant cupcakes and the ice cream sandwich near ToT is worth a walk!)

I'm interested in our party eating at Fairfax Fare next week during our visit if the older ones don't mind eating outside. We currently have a reservation at 50's Prime Time for dinner but I am reading mixed reviews about it so may cancel that ADR. I have a shellfish allergy so Fairfax Fare also sounds safer!
To those rib eaters out there.... my husband loves ribs, but we live in the South so have access to great ribs all the time. Will he be disappointed?

I think the bbq at Fairfax is passable... but if you're from a REAL bbq area (like we are St. Louis bbq fans) then it's not the same,it's more basic stuff with the sauce on it. My family still likes it, but it's not like the area specific bbq you can get in some of the truly great places in the USA- (side note, my ds LOVES the Flame Tree bbq in AK,and he also LOVES our 'real' bbq in Grammas town)

None I'm sorry to say. I'd boat or walk to an Epcot area resort
Sorry i disagree Starring Roles is very good and you have a great place to people watch. I would never leave a park just to go eat, but to each their own.

Have you had the sandwiches at Starring Rolls and if so, did you like them? They look huge and I was wondering if they could feed two people?

I'm glad you like them. They are not for us at all. Luckily we don't find it hard to find food we love elsewhere

I think a sandwich and one cupcake at Starring rolls is enough for two....(I'm biased,I love the cupcakes)

Yes depending on your appetite two people could share, my wife and I do. We enjoy them and also love the cookies!!

They really did change it. I liked the pressed turkey sandwich & it's gone. The vegetable sandwich is also gone.

They added "chicken & waffles" but it's really just chicken nuggets with a couple of Vader waffles.

I don't think the food at HS is all that great, but I wouldn't waste time leaving the park to avoid it.

We ate here for the first time last October. I had the vegetable grilled sandwich. I thought it was really good and said I would definitely be back. You are saying this is no more??
The fries were very salty here. Not sure if it was just a one time thing or what but they had a ton of salt.

And I'd have to disagree with you. Pre-packaged sandwiches consisting of cold cut meats, mayonnaise (no option) and bread is not something I'd call very good... Nor is pre-packaged sushi. I will agree with you though to a degree; I would never leave a park for a QS, but I would head to the Boardwalk area for a TS. What I do when visiting DHS is eat breakfast at Cape May or Captains Grille, snack on an excellent cupcake at Starring Rolls mid day and then enjoy a TS either in the park if staying for Fantasmic, or if not, eat dinner outside of the Studios.... As you say, to each their own. :goodvibes

P.S. Please don't take this as being snarky, it truly is not.

Correct. I'll miss it too.

I thought the BBQ ribs at fair fax were not edible, Just horrible. I'd stick with cupcakes, popcorn, and ice cream. Fortunately they can not mess up the Mickey ice cream bar on a stick, because it is prepackaged and ready to eat.

Well, we got the chicken and ribs. The chicken was small but really good. The ribs weren't good. We too enjoy Flame Tree BBQ, it's a lot better!

We have not enjoyed any CS meals at HS, on any of our trips. Each proved to be more, disappointing than the next. We have enjoyed each TS meal at HS though, every time. Good luck to you! Definitely make an ADR for any of the TS places...
