I am looking into a 8 day 7 night vacation for October of next year and one of the options I would like to have is a room on a Club Level floor. Which deluxe WDW resorts can anyone recommend in regards to their Club Level? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

My parents and I have had a lot of stays on the Atrium Club 12th floor at the Contemporary before the renovation up there and after the renovation. Besides that back in May 2000 we were upgraded at check-in to a standard room on the Tower Club 14th floor, which was our only stay up there. While I can't compare it to any other Club Levels until our stay in December at the Polynesian Club Level, we have had a lot of great stays on the Atrium Club. The Cast Members are amazing, the new lounge is very nice and the foods they serve up there are so good to eat.

I vote for the POLY-try to stay LVC. The views are the best in WDW. Check out tikiman's website for everything poly. Not sure of the exact web address-just google tikiman's polynesian website and you'll find it! Hope this helps and good luck with wherever you choose!

We have stayed at CR, 14th fl. Excellent, very personal attention. There are only a small handfull of rooms, the rest are suites. The view of Wishes from the lounge balacony is spectacular! Plus, they pipe in the music.

We've also stayed at AKL. Again, wonderful. The food is of an African "flare". One thing you can only do here is the Sunrise Safari. WELL worth the money. You are taken in the CM enterence of AK and over to the safari ride. Instead of the usual 20 minute ride, you take an hour, with lots of stops for pictures. No script, you have a guide to answer all you questions.

Poly's and CR are both good. Although I'd have to say that Poly's was the best. The choices they offer in the lounge are unbeatable. The views from Hawaii are fantastic. And the staff was wonderful. All you had to do is ask and they made sure it happened. It is also a excellent location since it's near the both pools and beach. :) :)

I have stayed at the AKL, Contemporary, Poly (a LONG time ago), GF RPC, and the Yacht Club on the concierge level. We LOVED the AKL for the theming and atmosphere (and special perks like the sunset safari, etc). Poly was amazing for the kids, great pool, great snacks, etc.

If I had to pick I would say the Poly and AKL were our favorites. GF RPC was wonderful during the holidays but a little too formal. I love the Poly being in a seperate building.

Contemporary was great for the view (priceless) and they had computers in every room.

AKL hands down!

Which others have you tried and why do you prefer AKL?

We've done AKL once with two more stays booked right now, SL 3 times, RPC once and the Polynesian quite a few times with one more time booked at present. We've enjoyed them all very much but the Polynesian is our favorite...the views, Chef Dick, the friendly CMs and the appetizer tilt it for us.

Oh, it is nice to be able to get a glass of champagne at the GF though.:goodvibes

CR and GF. I like AKL because of the morning safari. Service was comparable at all of them.
I agree having the morning safari option is wonderful. I didn't really think the service was comparable though and it will be interesting to read if it's become crowded now at the AKL due to the addition of DVC concierge rooms. Which levels were you on at the GF and CR?

My DH did the Sunrise Safari and absolutely loved it!

Tammi, unless the AK adds more rooms to concierge, the lounge should be less crowded.

Every two BR DVC unit has a max of 9 guests but replaced three deluxe rooms with a max of 5 each. There are 5 2BR lockoffs that will be DVC club level so instead of a potential of 75 guests there can only be 45.

Children under 3 not included in the above.

In addition, I don't think most of us max out the villas. We usually have 3 in a 1 BR and 4 in a 2 BR. The extra space is the big draw for many of us and we're not about to crowd our villas.

We have stayed club level at the Boardwalk and the Beach Club. Our vote would go to the BWI. Their CM's are wonderful:thumbsup2 They give you very personal attention and end up being part of your family. I have read from other posters that some of the Club Level offerings have gone down over the years, but I have never seen this happen at the Boardwalk. If you don't see something that is not offered, the cast members are great about try to get it for you. Looking forward to spending next year with the cast members. The view from the rooms are one of the best around in the Epcot area.

This past August I was purchasing a 1 day pass and instead of being charged the full price, a Cast Member from the Atrium Club sold me an after 4:00 PM convention ticket which cost half price. It's something I did not ask for so when she told me this I was like are you serious? I had no idea that type of ticket was even available. While there is no guarantee this would happen for other guests at the other Club Levels, I think it's safe to say that is something you would not get at the lobby Conciegre desk, unless you are really there for a convention.
