That makes me feel a lot better about staying in a studio. Between the resorts you have stayed at, which are your favorite studios?
Even thought BLT is smaller - it didn't feel that much smaller to us because there is sooo much storage. We even used the mirrored area in the kitchen as a dressing area for the "girls" (three of us).
With two sinks one can be brushing their teeth, washing their face - simple things instead of needing to use the bathroom.
VWL - well - because we LOVE it - it is our home resort.
We haven't stayed in a studio at OKW yet we had extra points and did a one bedroom there - however with the 2 beds instead of the one bed and pull out couch as well as the largest studio room size I can see it being at the top of the list when we do try it out.
We drive to WDW from Texas and have to spend at least one night in a hotel on the road. We don't get two rooms - we get one. If we can do that we can stay in a studio no problems.
For us it really comes down to being cozy and staying longer or spreading out and not staying as long. Staying longer (or more trips) always wins hands down.
BTW - if you ever go to Vero - try an Inn room instead of a studio - two queen beds instead of the one bed and couch configuration of the studio. Also the Inn Rooms still have the kitchenette.
wanted to add - we have stayed in studio rooms at VWL (multiple times), BLT (once), AKV - Jambo(once), BCV (once), Inn rooms at Vero(multiple times). We have done a 1 bedroom twice - once at VWL and once at OKW and once did a 2 bedroom at Vero. The biggest perk to us about staying in the larger room isn't so much the space - but having the washer and dryer right there.
