Best Check-In Day(s) for Room Requests?

Touring Plans has a great room finder feature but their parameters for the given rooms are off almost as much as their are right, even without Disney changing rooms categories. The only thing you can use it for it to see where the room is in the resort, anything else you find there is a gamble.

When I checked in with the folks at the Poly last month, they hadn't yet finalized the list of rooms for those views. I'll check again.

What about the new "Nature" view at WL? Is it going to match exactly the old "Woods View," or are the reclassifying rooms based on current views? And will there be new pics from the rooms that have lost the "woods" in front due to the building of the cabins. I have a a TP subscription and planning to make a general view room request.

My understand is that it will be a replacement. I'm working on getting an answer. And yes to the photos - that should be done shortly!

Stopped by the front desk today, and they confirmed it's simply a name change from "woods" to "nature." We'll get that changed on the site shortly. Also updated the ground-floor views of Boulder Ridge and WL that have views of the cabins. Those are on the site now.

The resort is very full, so we were not able to get access to upper-floor rooms with views of the cabins. That'll take a bit more time to update, then, for the ones that already haven't been done.

Thanks for updating the WL rooms Len! Are standard view rooms really down to just those facing the loading area, as shown on the room reservation finder?
