Assuming price is not an object, since we are on the Dining plan.

What's your favorite character meal at Magic Kingdom?

Considering the following:
Selection of food
Quality of food
Character Time.
Overall atmosphere.

Thanks,

My vote goes to CP. We loved the Pooh characters. The characters came to our table more than once. Eeyore spent alot of time at our table. Piglet did too. They were really playing with my then 18 mos. dd. The food was good too.

If you have daughters, I would hands down say CRT. We have only done the breakfast there, but will be trying the lunch in August. The restaurant is smaller and it seems like you get plenty of time with the characters. We did also enjoy CP. Food selection there was very good.

I have done CRT and CP and both are good. However, I am a bit partial to CP. I think because it is a buffet and offer more variety and choices. Plus I love POOH!! :sunny:

It depends if you are going to other character meals as well. There are no other places, other than CP to get Pooh and friends whereas you can see Minnie Mouse, Chip & Dale, and Goofy quite regularly through the parks and LTT. There is such a wide food spread at CP and they even have a lowered buffet for your tots. Anyone can find SOMETHING to eat there and their desserts are fabulous....I'm starting to gain weight just thinking about them. :p The dinner at LTT was good as well but it is a set menu, you get what they bring you. I would say that LTT's food was nothing out of the ordinary (beef brisket, turkey, ham, stuffing, corn, veggies) that you could not get back at home. CP has prime rib and other delectables that have a gourmet flair. I would even suggest this to those who do not have kids just because the food is excellent. :Pinkbounc

Just becareful about getting times at any buffet close to closing just because the food will be taken away at a certain time and they are not as good about replenishing things since they think that everyone should be done.

As far as the characters spending a lot of time at the table, I have heard many mixed comments for every character dining. I think that is variable each day. CMs were very helpful trying to Piglet for me when I was leaving (somehow they missed my table???) If you have really little ones, be careful when the characters start parading around CP (they do this every hour or so) as they can be stepped on as children are trying to join the parade; ouch!

LTT and CP can be quite crowded but both have nice atmospheres. I would say that LTT is overall less crowded. Even if you have ADRs I have always had to wait at least 15 mins-40 minutes to get into these places.

HTH.....save some cake for me! :rotfl:

selection of food: Crystal Palace

quality of food: Park Fare

character time: Cape May Buffet or Liberty Tree Tavern

Overall atmosphere: Cinderella's castle for princesses and for a real fun time, Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner.

I know, I know - not one is the really the same but that is why there is a character breakfast for everyone!
