Best Character Dines....

Hello fellow DISers....

MY DBF is taking me to WDW for my birthday in December ....I want to do at least ONE character dine since I have never done one (shocking, I know).
Please respond with what restaurant you like best, where it's located, approx. cost per person, and what meal you went for. I will need to make ADR's soon!

Wow! There are so many that are great for different reasons.

Some of our favorites are:

Crystal Palace in the MK. We like dinner here best, but breakfast is very good, too. Characters are Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. Great buffet. Cost is $27.99 per adult for dinner.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Another great buffet for dinner or breakfast. Characters at dinner are the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Prince Charming and Suzy and Perla. Cost for dinner is $27.99 per adult.

We've also done Chef Mickeys - I like this one for breakfast better than dinner and you'll meet Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and sometimes Donald.

I've heard great things about the Garden Grill and plan on trying that next year.

We also love Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner in the MK. YOu'll see Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale and have THanksgiving type foods. $27.99 per adult.

We did the Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian. We really enjoyed it. Characters were Lilo and Stitch, Mickey Mouse and Pluto. I can't remember the cost exactly, but I want to say around $25 per adult and $17(???) for kids.

Thanks for the info! I actually just found the list of restaurants on the Disney website but that you for your opinions...I'm looking at Chef Mickey's for breakfast one day, Ohana for breakfast one day, and maybe doing Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner....but we'll see! Thanks again!
