Taking our kids 12 and 9 and would like to do a character buffet brunch. Last time we did Goofy's Kitchen and it was great. We went as late as we could to make it our lunch as we had eaten at 7am at the hotel. We would do that again or should we do anothr one. These kids have not been, last time we took the older two when they were that age. Any suggestions? I know we can't make reservations yet, but this would be for August 20 or 22. Thanks!

People really like Storyteller's, which is in the Grand Californian Hotel. The food is apparently very good and the atmosphere a bit quieter than Goofy's. We'll be trying it on our next trip.

Minnie's at Plaza Inn is a popular breakfast/brunch, too. There are usually alot of characters there.

A few years ago we did the character brunch at Storyteller’s and booked a super late brunch (12-12:30 pm) and made sure to plan it on our DCA day. Maybe it was just the specific day we went but it was so empty and my daughter got so much time with the characters!

Your only options will be Goofy’s and Storytellers. Minnie’s is a breakfast and only goes until 11am.

I really enjoyed Storytellers when I went. It was “brunch” but we went at 12pm so it was lunch for us.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking to get a brunch/lunch out of it and not pay for two meals. Thanks.

Storytellers for a later brunch at the Grand Californian. Hands down.

The food at Minnie’s is absolutely terrible. It was bad before Covid, and we did it again in February and it was just as awful. It ends early as well because it shifts to quick service for lunch.

Yes, I would do Storytellers both because the food is better for brunch than Goofy's Kitchen and it is closer so takes less park time out of your day than Goofy's Kitchen. I actually love Goofy's Kitchen too but as a dinner the night before we start going to the parks.
