Looking for our last onsite breakfast idea. Based on quality of food and atmosphere, which would you recommend? We will be doing CP for dinner, so I don't know that we want Pooh and friends again either, and I will not be waking up at the crack of dawn for CRT.

Thanks for any advice!!!

do you want in/out of park? in the parks we like donald's at AK. i can only think of 3 in the resorts--ohana's at the poly, cape may breakfast and of course chef mickey. good luck! :earboy2:

1900 Park Fare. It's our favorite character breakfast - more so than CRT and PSB. The food is good and the character interaction is great.

Thanks for the info. I don't much mind if it is in the parks or a resort since we will have a rental car. I was considering Chef Mickeys, but have heard it is not so good anymore? Also 1900 park Fare sounds nice as I would also like to check out the holiday decorations in GF.

Decisions, decisions....

We went to Chef Mickey's two years ago and it was wonderful. All of the characters came by the table for pics and signatures. The breakfast buffet was huge. The food was really good.

I agree. Chef Mickey's is amazing and always a big favorite for us. This year we are going to try Donald's Breakfasaurus in the AK which I have heard good things about. You are always going to hear bad reviews on every single restaurant...to each their own. I would go anyway so *you* can make your own opinion. The food is amazing at Chef Mickeys the only complaints I have heard is about character interaction...but you always hear that at any character meal. Good luck! :goodvibes

Cape May gets our vote! We go every year! The buffet is excellent!
We were planning Chef Mickey's for dinner...but I have read so many negative comments about the food that I cancelled.

Hi,
Last month we ate ate Restaurantasaurus and enjoyed ourselves and the characters. We thought the food was fine (Park Fare is better as is Crystal palace IMHO), but we liked the character interaction (great family photo with Goofy was worth the price of admission!).

We also love making a reservation for around 8 am and then being the first one in the parking lot and on all the rides (FP the safari) - not on an EE day of course!

We did the early breakie at MK's C. Palace and loved being in early on a non EE day. Crowds were good for several hours and then the parks were too hot for us in Late July early Aug. anyway.

Enjoy!

I like chef mickeys, and Crysal Palace for Character Meals. 1900 Park Fare is good too but the characters aren't my cup of tea

Crystal Palace was the best food I've ever eated at a Character Breakfast- to me the rest of them seemed to be serving the same thing.
IMHO, I would just do the buffets for breakfast and not dinner. I think most of the complaints you are seeing about Chef Mickey's etc. is for the dinner. But think about it, when given the choice, would you really rather eat a dinner buffet or go to a TS meal and eat off the menu and have someone bring it to your table? But that is just my opinion...

I have to agree, Crystal Palace does have the best character breakfast-the food is awesome, especially the cheese grits!!! Character interaction is also great.
When we were at Chef Mickey's in May for breakfast, the food was good, not the CP, but good. The character's stopped at our table twice and did not have any problems with additional pictures etc......
Whatever you do, just enjoy it, and have a great trip!!! :)

We don't really need to be interacted with by the characters as much as the kids will just enjoy seeing them around. I think we will go with CP for breakfast and then do the Castle for dinner on the night of MMVMCP.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I wish I could visit all these restaurants, but some will have to wait for next visit! :sunny:
