Best Car Rental Offer

I'm looking at renting a car for 2 days during our DL vacation. We need one on our arrival day and also one on the day we go to Universal. I was looking at Costcotravel.com and saw a good deal for per day starting at $15, but the deal ends at the end of May and our trip is July 20. Does anyone have any recommendations on good deals for rental cars? Do I need to wait closer to our trip to book? Appreciate it!

HI, I've rented cars pretty often, and I've found that the deals usually come out within 30 days of when you need them. I go to www.mousesavers.com and use the car rental page on their site. You can see every agency, and there will be an updated list of all current discounts and codes to use so you can get the best deal. I rented a brand new Kia Soul last weekend from Thurs-Mon for $60 including taxes and fees. I used a coupon code, and a Rate ID from Alamo.... Good Luck.

I would suggest you go ahead and book now through any of the individual car rental agencies. Unless you're doing a pre-paid deal, none of the major agencies will require a credit card when you reserve a car. This way you can lock in the best rate you can find now. Then keep looking at the rates periodically and if you find something better, cancel your existing reservation and book the better rate. If you book through websites like Priceline, this won't work because you need to give credit card info at the time of booking. Good luck finding a great rate and have a good time at DL!
