For anyone who's a Silver member of the Best Buy Reward Zone program you can order select Black Friday items today through their website or by phone only. You cannot do it in the store and it ends at midnight tonight.

It started at noon and took me 3 hours to order a Sucker Punch DVD, Office Space on Blu Ray and the Gears of War Trilogy for XBox. The total was $18 for everything and shipping was free. That means I don't have to go to Best Buy on Black Friday. YAY! I can scratch a store off my list.

How do you get to this sale?

They had a laptop for 179.00 that I managed to get in my cart but the site was so slow I couldn't get to the checkout before it sold out :'(

I did manage to get tetris for the wii for 7.99 and the ipod case and power accessories for 9.99 :banana:

I got the email, and I have my silver card.... But when I click on the link, it says it does not recognize me as a silver member. :sad2:

If I had time I would call....... but I did not get around to it.

This deal worked for me - got the Ipod-touch w/$50GC BF-deal w/free shipping :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I didn't get it either!:confused:

Is it possible for someone to post the link? Or wouldn't that work?
The sale ended at midnight.

There was an email a week or so ago that instructed you to register your Reward Zone card if you wanted to participate in the sale. I guess that if you didn't register, you didn't get the email with the link that came very early yesterday morning.

To be honest, it was very frustrating when the sale started at noon. The website crashed and the phone lines were overwhelmed. Things got better later in the day but a lot of Premier Silver members couldn't get a lot of the things that they had in their carts prior to the website crashes because some items sold out.

Sale is done now... was only for noon to midnight eastern on Monday 11/21. I was able to snag the 8gb ipod touch with $50 GC for $205 including the tax as a Christmas present for DD. Took over an hour on the website! I did try calling as well, but kept getting hung up on!:rotfl2: At least we don't have to go out to BB on BF now!:banana:

same thing happened to me, probably a good thing though, as i really dont need to be spending anymore money!!
but best buys site always messes up with stuff like this, it gets pretty annoying.

There were lots of problems with the site yesterday. I think it was overloaded with people trying to get the deals.

One time I tried to log in and it didn't recognize me. I had logged in successfully the day before. I tried calling once and all of the circuits were busy.

I ended up getting the 16 gb iPad 2 deal for $49 off and am still not quite sure how I managed it. Once I got into the site a few minutes after noon I couldn't put the item in my basket. The button was grayed out and it said "Coming Soon". I clicked on the detail for the item and it let me select it for my basket but the price was $499 not $450. I tried to add it to my basket thinking maybe the right price would show up at checkout time but got a little spinning box saying waiting. I just left it there for about 30 minutes. I came back to just cancel everything and noticed I had an item in my cart. I clicked on it and there were the 16gb iPad2 for $450. I had $100 in Reward dollars so I check out and got the deal. It ended up working out great but it was pretty confusing. By late afternoon I could get into the site with no problem but just about every deal was sold out.

Website act very flakey when they are overloaded with traffic.
