Best Burger/Pizza in Orlando

I'm pretty much only familiar with Disney restaurants. We'll be in the Universal area and I know about Cowfish, but I think we'll be looking for offsite eats in a couple of weekends and I think people will probably be looking to me for recommendations. Where are some good places to get a drink and a burger or pizza?

Still haven’t found a pizza I truly love in Orlando!

Teak Neighborhood Grill near Universal for burgers.......it’s a great local bar.....food and drinks are excellent. We’ve been going there for years!

Also Beth’s Burgers on Universal Blvd.

Pizza.......it’s a chain but NYPD pizza is pretty darn good.

Shake Shack has good burgers - in the Orlando Eye complex.

Hash House a Go Go also on I-drive has enormous entrees - enough to share.

If you are looking for casual Counter to Table service (order at counter, delivered to table) check out Burger 21. Enormous burgers, great fries, and a selection of sauces. They also do certified gluten free. Small selection of beers available. A small South-East US chain with a couple of Orlando locations, we often stop for one last burger at the Charlotte NC on the drive home as well.

The best burgers I've had in Orlando is the Hard Rock Cafe.

Another vote for Teak. Just down the road from Universal and their burgers are amazing. Be sure to ask for their secret menu if you go there. The Godzilla Burger is to die for!

Red Oven Bakery at City Walk.

Retro District is on Door Dash. We tried them last month. Very good.

I love Flippers Pizza. There are a lot of those around Orlando.

I never heard of this restaurant and I'm excited to see they have a gluten free menu! We will check it out in May. Thanks!

Dubsdread golf course probably has the best burger but there are many good places. Same with pizza, pleanty of places.
