This is just my 2nd time at Saratoga Springs (the last time we were close to the pool area), I remember that the buildings are very spread out, so I was wondering if there is a building I should ask for that would be more convenient for busing to the parks.

Thanks in advance for any help!

we we in the bldg next to the pool (8400??)-the bus stops right by this bldg--it is the bldg on the far side of the pool (you walk over from Springs and then cross pool to get to it). It was a perfect location. 1st bus stop, so you always get a seat, near fun pool and only 5 minute short walk over to food, springs pool, etc.

Thanks Ido! I will ask for that one then! :thumbsup2
I know we may not get it, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

We are getting excited, we leave in 2 weeks. It's our first time for MNSSHP and Food and Wine!

We liked the Springs. We were right by the bus stop, across from the pool, and close to the ofice and Artists Palette. It also has a back view of the pond and a peek at Downtown Disney. It is such a beautiful place, so much thought was put into the planning of the grounds!

A couple of years ago I stayed in the Paddock area. I really liked that location. We were one of the first stops picked up and dropped off on the bus route each day and night. We had a quiet pool very near there and our bus stop was a short walk. And across a short bridge we had about a 5-7 minute walk to the main area.

Now with the Grandstand area and Carousel sections done (they were not last time I stayed there) I am thinking Paddock is picked up maybe third. But still before Congress Park and the Springs. I would post this over on the DVC Planning Board. There are lots of SSR regulars over there who have stayed more recently than I have. Because its not just about the stop location, being early in the overall route is nice too! There must be around five or six stops for this resort by now.

The Springs is great for the main pool (have stayed there too but again almost two years ago) but it was one of the last, if not the last stop on the route. Which meant during our stay we had to stand a couple of times since we boarded a full bus in the morning.

I posted this same question on th DVC board...Grandstand seems to be a favorite as someone already mentioned. They have a great pool area there as well! Have a great time! I still have some time before we are there!
