Best Building at POR

We have reservations at the POR in May. We need a trundle bed so will stay in Alligator Bayou. Which building is best. Closet to the main pool, bus, and restaurant??? We have a standard view if this matters. Definitely prefer a non-smoking room.

Aligator Bayou Buliding 14 is your best bet to be closest to everything. There are resort maps on the DIS and other sites such as www.allearsnet.net that will show you the lay of the land.

Just returned from POR (3/27), we stayed in AB 16 (upgraded to a trundle room - no charge), it was great, close to everything including main building, food court, bus stop, main pool, fishing hole, quiet pool just across the bridge.

Bldg. 14 and Bldg. 18 are my two favorites. Bldg. 14 is closer to the Food Court but Bldg. 18 has a quiet pool.

we were in building 15 2 weeks ago. it's in a pretty good spot as well

We were in bldg. 27 in January, room 2709 to be exact. It looks kinda far on the map, but it was about a 1.5 minute walk to the food court and about 3 minutes to the main pool. There is a cut through in the middle of the building that doesn't show on any map. One thing you have to watch out for, if you have a car, is where the CMs tell you to park. They had us walking all over the joint and it took forever. For bldg. 27, park between bldgs. 16 & 17 and walk by the quiet pool - much shorter! It wasn't super convenient for bus stops, but if you're going to the food court on the way...

ps- we got a trundle without even asking for it! DS 3 was fascinated and wondered why anyone would want to sleep under the bed.

I would recommend building 15. Very close to the main bus stop and close to the food court and queit pool. Great location!

I believe Bldg. 18 is smoking optional. ~~
