Best Breakfast on property - in a resort or at Downtown?

My brother's Bday is on the 22nd this month. He just found out that he is going to have this coming weekend off.

So, his girlfriend and I are planning to take him to WDW for the weekend. We're looking to book ADRs for breakfast for when we leave monday morning. But, not sure where. He usually likes Chef Mickey's, but at this late in the game, they're all booked. I used to like to go to Boatwright's for breakfast.. until they stopped serving breakfast. I loved their sweet potato pancakes and the banana stuffed french toast.

Any suggestions?

Grand Floridian Cafe is a pretty easy ADR to get. It isn't really expensive (in Disney standards) and the steak & eggs breakfast? Pretty, darn good. *Note* It is on the monorail line for easy access to the Magic Kingdom after breakfast.

My vote is for Kona Cafe at the Poly as well. Macademia (sp?) Nut pancakes are amazing!

I personally enjoy Saratoga Springs breakfast. They seem to have lots of options.

Kona is always a good choice, but if you want something a little different and a bit more "adult-oriented", Fresh at the Dolphin is excellent!

I have a 10:15am ADR for 4 at Chef Mickey's on 12/20 that I will most likely be canceling ... I could certainley give you a heads up when I do so, if you'd like to pick it up.

For something a bit different, we like Kouzzina.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Kouzzina in September. The stacked breakfast (sweet potato hash, poached egg, kalamata olive toast and artichoke spread) was amazing! It is a must do on our list now!

I enjoyed the cape may buffet, it seems much fresher than chef mickeys and the character interaction is great, less rushed.

we also enjoyed 1900 park fare in the grand floridian, great breakfast buffet and the mad hatter was hilarious, but it is kind of a madhouse in there compared to cape may.

Kouzzina is a must for us too, Chef Marylin was unbelievably accommodating with my nut allergy, and the food is sooo good! Might I recommend the waffles with marscapone cheese or the pancake

If you want Chef Mickey's & don't mind waiting, I'm sure you could get in w/o reservations.

If you prefer a less chaotic breakfast, we like Boma - no characters & a good buffet breakfast - love those pecan sticky buns! While we were there, reservations were not necessary.

If you don't mind non-Disney, I've heard the Marriot World has a mega & fabulous breakfast buffet & an out of this "World" Sunday brunch.

Some folks rec WCC for the fun & a good "Skillet" breakfast. Also many like the family style service of Ohana.

You might keep trying Chef Mickey's because that is a classic place.

If you want variety and a different place to check out, I would recommend Bomas. The food is different, you won't get some of these dishes anywhere else. After breakfast, you can check out the resort. It's beautiful. The animals are amazing. You can make a mini morning out of it.
