Best Breakfast at MK?

I would love to do breakfast when we are at MK and had initially thought BOG looked good - castle and characters, but in reading some of the reviews it seems the consensus is that the breakfast is awful. I am keen to do Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch because I think my husband will enjoy it, so this rules out BOG for lunch, and I want to be back at our resort for supper so that is out also.

Where do you think the best breakfast is at MK? Characters would be great, but not a requirement.

I know this question is completely subjective :)

Thank you in advance!

BOG does not have characters. Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal table do though. I have not tried either yet, but we are doing breakfast at CP in Dec.

CP is our favorite brft.! It is a very pretty building with a view of the castle out the window. They have a chef who does made-to-order omelettes and they make delicious yummy puffy french toast! And of course, bouncing with Tigger can't be beat!:tigger:

Try to get get a pre-park opening ADR for the Crystal Palace. The ambience, food, and character interaction is good. Plus you can walk down Main Street with very few people and enjoy a great breakfast. We have done this several times (and again this coming Sunday) and, even though we are all adults, had a great time.

Best breakfast is at Crystal Palace.

But BOG is not "awful." And it's great for a quick PPO bite.

CP has the best breakfast at MK. If you are willing to not be in the park (however super close) and you don't need characters, I would suggest the Wave at CR. Offers both full menu plus a great breakfast buffet at a good price point.

Crystal Palace is definitely my fave. That Pooh's French toast alone keeps me going back again and again.

Fruit & Nutella Waffle from Sleppy Hollow Refreshments is easily my favorite. If I am up early and beat the crowds to MK, you'll find me at attractions or meeting characters not sitting down eating breakfast.

I'm thinking of trying this and I was wondering if we can ask very easy on the nutella? Not too crazy on nutella or any kind of spread such as chocolate spread....too sweet. Thank you

Yeah, you sure can. As a matter of fact we had someone who asked for the nutella on the side as well as the fruit and they spread very little...of course, I took what they didn't use =)

Didn't think of asking on the side. That's better....I can put little of I want. Thank you

I thought Be Our Guest was actually pretty good, but it largely depended on what you ordered. Some dishes were successful and others not so much. It seemed the more complicated items didn't go over well, but the atmosphere is really lovely.

I'd agree that Crystal Palace and CRT are great choices. However, given that you're planning Liberty Tree for lunch, I don't know that I could do two big meals back to back. In that scenario, I'd pick the cinnamon rolls at Gaston's Tavern!

We had 8:05 PPO CP breakfast Labor Day weekend on Sunday. It was awesome. We're were knew of the first ones seated and were seated at the first table on the right side. The food was fresh and amazing and we were one of the first tables the characters came to. We never felt rushed, got pics with all 4 characters and made numerous trips to the buffet and were out by 8:50am to beat the rope drop crowd.

Crystal Palace has always been a favorite! It is such a pretty place and it's always nice to see Pooh and friends.

Back in the day when Main Street Bakery was, well... Main Street Bakery, getting a muffin or cinnamon roll and sitting at the tables at the end of Main Street enjoying the sparrows and people watch was 2nd on the list.:thumbsup2

Add me in to the CP crowd. We've gone twice and both times the character interaction is great, food's very good (especially if you're a carboholic) and we're usually out right before MK opens. We didn't do it this past trip but plan to on our next one!
