Best book on Disneyland?

I'm looking for recommendations for books about Disneyland. I bought Birnbaum's Disneyland Resort 2004. And again felt indifferent because of the lack of information/and up to date pictures compared to the one that was done for Disneyworld.

I also am not fond of Bob Sehlinger's Unofficial. The book is boring to me. I need a visual!!!!

So any other suggestions would well welcomed!!!!

Unfortunately I think the "official" guide is the best there is, which is why I now almost exclusivly reley on websites and have given up on buying the books !

I have to say I am a fan of the unofficial guide myself. I followed touring plans for two pre-kid trips in the late 90's.

It seems to me once you discover the DIS, you won't find a book that can really offer too much more than what you can find searching/asking on these boards.

I just ordered Birnbaum's Disneyland Resort 2005 book. It comes out Oct 1, but you can get it now on Amazon.com. I'm going to give the Official another try. They have added a lot more up to date pictures and listed info about the 50th Anniversary in this new addition. We shall see when it comes.

That is usually true, but on the Disneyland side of this board, You don't get nearly as many responses as you do in the WDW boards.
