Best Bike Rides

What would y'all say is the best place to rent bikes at WDW?

What it to be expected at the various rental locations?

Can you rent bikes at a resort other than your own?

We stay frequently at VWL and rent bikes every trip to ride over to FW! It is a nice ride! We have even seen deer very close up! We love riding over to the petting zoo! My ds loves to ride the pony's there also! He has really bonded with Blueberry, and looks forward to it every trip!

Totally agree that the best bike ride is from WL/Villas to Fort Wilderness. You can rent them from the marina. They will give you a map to FW.....nice long ride, plus you can explore all of FW as well. You could stop over there for lunch/snack. There is a petting farm. Great wildlife. We went last year to stay at the villas and did not do the parks for 4 days.....spent alot of time riding bikes, it was great!!

I have stayed at CBR, CSR and POFQ and rented from each resorts. I enjoyed riding around at POR, maybe because we didn't rent the surrey bike! I told the kids that because they are getting too big, and I can't pedal the surrey bike by myself that we need the individual bike. So I rented one for me, my son and a bike with training wheels for my daughter. It worked out beautifully.

On our next trip, I am going to rent it for an hour, this way we can bike to POFQ too! This one of the kids highlights on their trip. They really enjoyed themselves. We walked from POFQ to POR and that's where we rented it. It was about 15 minute walk. POFQ do not have rental bikes nor any marina boats. Then on the way back, we used the water taxi to get back to POFQ.
